What Is Life Coaching?

A Must Read For Bucharest Business Owners…

There is a lot of confusion life coaching. Nearly everyone understands an attorney, athlete, or teacher. However, hardly anyone knows or understands the duties of a life coach.

A life coach is your partner to work with, looking closely at your life and helping you to unlock your potential or deal with issues you have in your life to make it more happy and balanced and achieve dreams you have always had.

In simple steps, week by week we can unlock the issues that make you unhappy and start a fresh new, more confident person on a better path of life, that you have always wanted.

Our skills are about knowing the right questions to ask and having the right tools and techniques to help you to find those answers within yourself.

You, the client, are the only expert in your entire life who truly knows who you are and what you need. As your coach, we help you discover what your own personal “best” might be.

Every day we make choices to do or not do many things. These choices may range from profound to trivial and each one has an effect that makes our lives more fulfilling or less fulfilling. Life coaching helps you learn how to make choices that create an effective, balanced and fulfilling life.

We help you connect your head and your heart in a way that transforms your passion for your dreams into action.

Another way to think is;

  • Are you aware of your potential? Are you using it currently?
  • Something is missing in your life and you can’t see what it is?
  • Are you free to make your own choice in your activity?
  • Are you inspired by the idea of producing your own change but also helping others produce theirs?
  • Do you want to make that great change for once in your life and possibly the lives of others?

I’ve had colleagues who’ve tried life coaching in the past, for work related issues. They were very impressed and recommended it. Nice to see it is svailable here in Bucharest.

  • Paula Kent-Sheldon

Looking at the website I see the guys involved have extensive business experience. I wonder if most of their clients are interested in work related issues, rather than the relationship or family options.

I haven’t been here long but have already met several people who would benefit from this service! If they offer career counselling for people who want to move beyond teaching English I would imagine they’d do really well.

  • Travelerkitkat

I really like the idea of life coaching. I think it is a very holistic way to approach making life better. I would love to find a life coach in Romania who could help me make some life changes.

  • JemimaK

I think you have a good point! I’m not sure if it is the expat lifestyle or a more basic personality thing, but it is easy to lose direction when you live abroad.

  • JontyBlair

I would say it is a combination of the two. The expat life has a lot of rewards and Romania is a great place to live. On the other hand it can be hard to feel grounded when you are living a nomadic lifestyle. I have met several teachers here who have lost their way.

  • dillio

I am with you. I think that every one not only needs to know what a life coach is but at some point in a persons life they need to give one a try.

  • TimTamTim

I like that the approach is all about guiding the client towards finding the answers. I don’t really consider myself an expat, for me that sounds like a term for those settled abroad. But I do think that it is important we stop moving sometimes and take stock of our lives.

  • isis

I have always wondered what life coaching was. It sounds more interesting than I thought. I think sometimes it might be good to get a fresh opinion on this thing we call life.

    Hi guys,
Thanks for all the positive cooments, please feel free to contact us for anymore questions you have.
Two of our coaches are the guys in the wakeboarding pictures, we had a great time.
If you want to change or look at your life, today, now, is the time!!

  • Lynne-Teacher

Isn’t that the reason so many of us are semi permanently on the road? I try to settle in one place but my feet get itchy at around the 9 month mark. I fear it becomes a habit, perhaps one that we really don’t want to break?

  • Horatio

This is something that really interests me. I think I like this better than going to a psychiatrist. I just need to sit down and talk to someone who can see things going on in my life and make some suggestions. I may have to look into it…

  • http://www.adventuremotomania.com Aliscot

    Thanks Expat Bucharest,
We have some new clients who are on a happier road, having joined us.
We have more spaces available and remember, you can have a free ‘Life Assesment’ anytime, with no obligation!!
    Have a great weekend

  • http://www.adventuremotomania.com Aliscot

Time for a chat? I am always interested to listen :-)

  • Chilewoman

This sounds very interesting and sounds like it could make a big difference over the long run if the person is willing to implement the things he’s told. I like the idea of the first meeting being free and I believe I’m going to take you up on it.

  • http://www.bettercareconsulting.com Aliscot

Its all about motivating the person, not giving direction, we help you find the power and enthusiasm within. Top tennis coaches cannot play as well, or better than the player, however, they can motivate and help them to levels the player never thought they could reach..we help you enjoy life and make it more fun..

Try it the first one is free!

  • Babs

A life coach can be very helpful. Finding one that is there to try to guide you onto the right path is important. There are various types as well. One of the biggest things I appreciate about my life coach is that I am still free to make my own decisions she just helps me work things out and talk them out. Strangely enough, I usually find that she and I agree when I really sit down and discuss things.

  • JoJo

Time management has always been a problem for me. I was very interested in seeing it listed among your offereings. Time is one of those limited resources that is so easy to squander and impossible to get back!

  • Meow

I have never had a life coach, but I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. I think it can be very helpful, especially during dramatic changes in your life.

  • Hans

I have never had a live coach either but I feel pretty overwhelmed about all of the different projects I am working on both in business and in life. Maybe this is what I need to do.

  • micky

This sounds right for me. I am great about figuring direction out, in the beginning that is. But then I suffer from a lack of motivation and I can not seem to hold it all together.

  • clydeO

I think it is a great idea. A life coach can be that third party who can observe with out emotion. They can help you learn to make good choices. I used to have one and I loved it. If I get in a slump them my life coach will be the first place I go.

  • GameOn

Nine months! Wow – I thought I was bad moving every five years. Glad to know I am not the only one who gets itchy feet.

  • inkblot

It really can help to have someone to talk with. Just the act of saying it out loud can help to clarify a problem. A life coach is a great unbiased listener.

  • Hans

It is nice to hear others have had good experiences with this. I might send the guy in the article and email. After all it is free to learn what it is all about.

  • DrWho

I agree, there is nothing better than something free. Especially when it could be a start to a bright new life and a source of real motivation.

  • DeanM

Yeah, sometimes I get to a point where I can not work something out on my own. Yet it might not be something I want to speak with my friends about either.

  • Lovey

While I never had a “life coach”, I did have a therapist I talked with for a while when my kids were in those “tween” years. From the description above, I think a life coach is more what I needed at that time, rather than therapy.

  • GiddyupROM

What is required to get a life assessment? How are you addressing the issue of dealing with this crap economy? Is that part of it or is it more psychology stuff?
