A Fresh Start For 2011 From Elite Coaching

As we turn the year into a fresh year it’s a great time to reflect on the year that has finished, review the good and bad aspects of your life and also the highs and lows. Once this is done you can then start to set targets for the next year. Reviewing your life is very important to be able to find where you are now, and then be able to move forwards.

Looking back at 2010, ask yourself what were the big wins, what worked well?

Celebrate those Victories how small they may be, good memories in your life from last year.

This creates confidence as you head into the next year.

What have you learned from the last year?

What are the positives you can carry forwards?

What was happening in your life when the good things happened last year?

Clarity precedes Mastery.

Looking forwards now, choose five big things you would like to achieve in the next year.

These big five are going to be be your main focus, we will look at these every week to keep them on track

Which five moral values would you like to achieve in the next year?

Again, we will look at these almost weekly until they are embedded.

Graduating

Now we move to the commitment stage, now we must emotionally engage in this process to look at what your life will be like.

Picture these changes, see yourself next year, visualise how you will look like, feel the difference, revisit this picture in your mind every few days

If you constantly work, weekly, daily, on these targets during next Year, you will be there by December 2011

What an inspiring way to start the new year! Every New Years, we sit around the table telling each other how we’ll lose weight and spend less. This approach sounds so much more realistic – like it might actually work! Thanks.

So this is what a life coach does? I have always wondered. It sounds motivating! Maybe I’ll make it a new year’s resolution to look into Elite Coaching!

This article really makes me think very hard and examine myself very deeply. There are so many things that happened within the past year, thinking about which of them really counts and be carried forward needs deep understanding and analysis. Thanks for the guide.

I have given up on making New Year’s Resolutions that does not get done. This seems more positive though. With a step by step monitoring on how the objective is to be met “If you constantly work, weekly, daily, on these targets during next Year, you will be there by December 2011″

I read through this article quickly and though ‘oh that’s an easy thing to do’. Now I have been sitting here for 30 minutes and am still at stage 1! It is quite hard to get your head together and focus but I appreciate the opportunity.

This is much better plan for the coming year instead of making resolutions that haven’t done in the past year. Reviewing the successes that we did will help us focus on doing things that should be done in the following year.

I didn’t have big successes in the past year but thinking of all the good things that happened to me is much better than sulking on the things where I failed. I will definitely count the blessings and rewards I received last year to encourage me to work better this year.

  • Romy

It seems like we will make 5 resolutions for this year based on the “Clarity precedes Mastery” part. One resolution is not an easy thing to do but I guess with dedication and determination, we can achieve our resolutions.

  • Lemontop

You have the right attitude. It is easy to see big successes but the small victories are just as sweet. I know that 2010 was a struggle for me as I worked too much. The best moments were when I got to be creative, I am keen to pursue this glimmer of light.

  • Martin

Yes, it is best to look at the bright side all the time because remembering our failures can even discourage us. But as the article stated, we must identify both ups and downs so we don’t make the same mistakes in the future.

  • Kilmer

I think the author wants us to have diverse goals because sometimes we tend to forget the one resolution we have. If we have 5 goals then there is always a chance that at least one of them can be done.

Well….I did it! I met a very kind warm and interesting man, who gave me my first meeting and chat free, very simple, met in a lovely, quiet coffee shop, near Unirii, for just over an hour.
It really opened my eyes to where I want to be and the small but first steps I have to take, I can see the path..
I have signed up for the next 2 months..Never thought I would have done it!
