    • ]]>     By now everyone has seen the Palace and all the light and laser shows going on there as a “test” for tomorrow night’s big party! Unirii will be absolutely packed full for fireworks and the Bands that will be playing. Surely there will be some “chaos” and lot’s of alcohol, so plan accordingly for this event. Prep for NY 2010-s

    Here’s a pic taken from rooftop level just beyond the palace. I’d like to take a look at that power bill….

    Where will you catch Bucharest Expat? We’ll probably be at Mojo’s in Lipscani. 250 ron for snacks and drinks…can’t beat that! Happy New Years’ to all.

You can’t miss it.. its huge, and bright. With a casino at ground level and some incredible decor within, this trendy new look is a big hit in my mind. The lounge inside, strangely named “Blah” is a modernistic approach to formal gathering. The U-shaped bar is surrounded by a clear acrylic river of water at your feet. This coupled with the translucent backlit marble accent walls creates a really cool effect.

    We did the new years eve party here last year, which was just out of this world. With magic and comedy shows, followed by five to seven course gourmet meals, and a rooftop viewing of the Palace’s firework displays just topped off a great evening. See you all there this New Year’s!
